Privacy policy
How we collect, use and protect your information.
Trinity Tax Solutions prepares tax returns. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and how we protect it. Effective October 20, 2026.
What we collect
- Your estimate. Your answers in the pricing questionnaire, and the name, email and phone number you give when you accept an estimate.
- Your booking. The details you enter when you schedule a call.
- Calls, texts and email. Messages and voicemails you send us.
- Your tax information. The documents and details you provide through our secure client portal so we can prepare your return.
- Website data. Basic technical information such as your browser, device and pages visited, collected by our hosting, security and analytics tools.
How we use it
We use your information to give you an estimate, schedule and hold your call, prepare and file your return, answer your questions and keep the records the law requires. We do not sell your information, and we do not use your tax return information for marketing or any purpose other than preparing your return.
Tax return information
Tax return information is protected by federal law, including Internal Revenue Code section 7216. We use and disclose it only to prepare and file your return and as that law allows, for example to the IRS and state tax agencies when we file. If we ever wanted to use or disclose it for any other purpose, we would ask for your written consent first.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers, who receive only what they need to provide their service:
- Intuit, for our tax software and the Intuit Link client portal.
- Google, for email, phone and text messages, and storing estimate requests.
- Calendly, for booking calls.
- Cloudflare, for hosting and protecting this website.
We also share information when the law requires it, such as in response to a valid legal request.
How we protect it
We follow a written information security plan, as federal law requires of tax preparers. Documents are exchanged through a secure client portal, our accounts use multi-factor authentication, and access is limited to the people who need it. Please don't send Social Security numbers or tax documents by text or ordinary email; upload them to your portal instead.
How long we keep it
We keep client files for seven years after the return is filed, which covers the period the IRS can ask about a return. If you request an estimate but don't become a client, we delete your estimate within two years. We then delete or securely destroy the information.
Cookies and analytics
We may use analytics and advertising tools, such as Google Analytics and Google Ads, to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our ads. These tools use cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, subject to the records we are required to keep. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. We prepare returns for dependents only through a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
